Volunteer wildlife carers for injured birds of prey. We rehabilitate rescued birds of prey and release those that are able, back into Nature.
WA Conservation of Raptors are Stuart and Amanda Payne.
We are handed in birds of prey from the public, veterinary specialists and the DEC that have been injured, from all over WA, from Broome to Albany and everywhere in between. The majority of the injuries that the birds receive are car strikes, poisoning, shooting and starvation from habitat loss. We are required by the DEC to have a current licence to care for the birds that are handed in.
We are entirely self funded and both maintain full time jobs in non-raptor related occupations, in order to be able to provide the best care we can to these beautiful birds.
Donations are always appreciated and gratefully received to assist us in our efforts.
